Bilateral meeting of Ruling party Awami League and Jatiya Oikayafront

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said in talks with the Jatiya Oikayafront that all of us must keep our country safe.

She said this at the inauguration speech of the dialogue with the Jatiya Oikayafront at 7:00 pm at the Official residence Ganobhaban on Thursday.

In the beginning, Prime Minister said to the leaders of Jatiya Oikayafront, “Today you have come to this event. Welcome to this building of the people. The country is all of ours. It will also be united in formation. Everyone needs to play their role to make the country better.”

Sheikh Hasina said, “Everyone has seen the development of the country from the Awami League’s 9 years in power. Now everyone will have to work together to build this country more beautifully. Peace and prosperous of the country will also be mixed together.” 

“I think today’s talks will be a great contribution to socio-economic development of Bangladesh,” she said.

The Premier said, “Apart from this, this country is all f us. We have to change the fate of the people, taking the country forward and the overall development of the country. We have left the responsibility of development of justice to the people.” 

Highlighting the country’s development from the ruling party, she said, “It has been 9 years and 10 months, we are in power. During this time, we will surely consider how much development we have made in the country. I can say that the common people of Bangladesh are good, their luck has changed.”

The Prime Minister said, “Since we started to develop the country, the country has forwarded further.”

To implement the spirit of the war of Liberation, we have achieved this independence under the leadership of our great leader, Bangabandhu. So that, the benefit of that freedom can reach every person’s house, that is our only goal. We are working with that goal.”   

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is leading a 21-member delegation of the 14-party alliance in the dialogue. The veteran lawyer Dr Kamal Hossain led 21 members of the Jatiya Oikayafront.
